1) The Buddy Holly Story at Casa Manana

The “World’s Most Successful Rock Musical” is back at Casa Manana! Don your black-rimmed glasses and celebrate Buddy Holly’s meteoric rise to fame. You will be dancing in the aisles and singing the top of the record chart hits right along with the cast. Enjoy the golden days of rock ‘n’ roll, with hits such as “Peggy Sue,” “That’ll be the Day” and “Rave On.” The last half of the show reenacts his last night on earth 60 years ago – the concert at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa, complete with the moves of Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper.  Enjoy the Texas Legend of Buddy Holly through September 15th at Casa Manana.


2) Dallas Cowboys kick off the new season!

Your Dallas Cowboys host division rival New York Giants to kick-off the 2019-2020 season. Determined to better the 10-6 mark from last season, the Cowboys appear primed to make a deep run in the playoffs this season. It all starts this Sunday at 3:25pm at Jerry World.

 


3) Fringe Festival

The FW Fringe is an annual Fringe Festival co-produced by Texas Nonprofit Theatres and the Fort Worth Community Arts Center. 4) Music Alley in Mansfield                                                                                       FREE

It’s, like, totally awesome, for sure! Historic Downtown Mansfield is going back to the 80s for Music Alley 2019, This Saturday! This one-day FREE festival includes four stages of live music, interactive art exhibits, food & drink and plenty of Insta-worthy moments you won’t want to miss. So DON’T!

 

 


5) FWSO presents The Vinyl Years at Bass Performance Hall

Classic rock’s biggest hits come alive in this symphonic tribute to the anthemic songs of The Doobie Bros., Fleetwood Mac, Styx, Kenny Loggins, Linda Ronstadt & more. Experience this high-voltage performance by the FWSO and three amazing vocalists. 7) Tower of Power at Billy Bob’s
