ArtsGoggle started 17 years ago as the Near Southside’s own indoor gallery night designed to showcase the district’s revitalization efforts underway via newly-established business hosting one-day open houses in partnership with local artists. Today, visitors are invited to stroll artist’s booths on Magnolia Avenue that stretch more than a mile in length and adjacent businesses, new and old, tout ArtsGoggle as their best day of sales each year.

ArtsGoggle, presented by the Near Southside’s Mag & May, is Fort Worth’s premier festival of local arts. This free to the public, family-friendly event annually hosts more than 1,000 visual artists, 50 musical performances, artistic displays of every kind, food, drink, and fun for everyone. Unlike any event in Fort Worth, it exclusively focuses on highlighting the work of local artists, musicians, and performers of all mediums and experience levels. Bring the whole family.  Stay all day!

2) Texas Ballet Theatre presents Sleeping Beauty

Filled with gorgeous costumes, lavish decor and enchanting music, this ballet will have you under its spell from the first curtain.  Doomed by fate and awakened by love, follow the beautiful story of Princess Aurora as she dances her way through curses and dreams to find her prince charming. 3) Ranch BASH at Panther Island

Ranch BASH welcomes CASEY DONAHEW back to the Ranch Bash stage this awesome music festival this year, fresh off the release of his new album One Light Town. A full day of music across two stages will also include SHANE SMITH & THE SAINTS, SAM RIGGS, Fort Worth’s own JOSH WEATHERS and many others.

Ranch Bash is Fort Worth’s original music festival. For 15 years, it has been a celebration of friends, fans and the best in Texas-Red Dirt country music.

Ready for some Halloween fun in the burbs?  Head to Historic Downtown Mansfield for 3-days of scary Halloween fun.  Trick or treating, ghost tours, a walk through haunted house and even a chance to do a paranormal investigation of the Farr Best Theater! 6) Tracy Lawrence at Billy Bob’s Texas

You can experience the biggest Country stars on the Billy Bob’s Stage on any given weekend, but there may be none bigger or more popular than Tracy Lawrence.  Tracy Lawrence has been singing since he was 15 years old and entertaining fans at the World’s Largest Honkytonk for nearly 3 decades. This Saturday will mark his 36th main stage appearance at Billy Bob’s. He’s charted more than 40 singles on the Billboard Charts including eight #1 songs, “Sticks and Stones”, “Alibis”, “Can’t Break It to My Heart”, “My Second Home”, “If the Good Die Young”, “Texas Tornado” and “Find Out Who Your Friends Are” and “Paint me a Birmingham”. 7) Dallas Cowboys versus Philadelphia

The W’s get tougher and tougher with the Boys in Blue…BUT, Any weekend in Texas is better when it includes a big W from America’s Team.  And no W is any sweeter than when it is against the hated Eagles from Philadephia.  You can always find tickets somewhere somehow to AT&T Stadium and there is no better electricity in the air than when the Cowboys face the NFC Rival Eagles.


 8) Great State Fair of Texas

Come on!  Do we really need a description here?  It’s the final weekend for the 2019 Great State Fair of Texas!  Get to Fair Park and get a Fletcher’s Corn Dog, some fried concoctions, and then hit the Midway.
