2) FWSO presents Disney FANTASIA

Mickey Mouse calls to the magic in all of us in this not-to-be missed high-definition screening of scenes from Walt Disney’s immortal films FANTASIA and FANTASIA 2000. Remember Donald Duck’s ark? The hippopotamus in a tutu? Mickey as the sorcerer’s apprentice? Your Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra performs a live soundtrack to these scenes and more.

3) Armed Forces Bowl

This game is a HUGE Thank You. Thank you to the brave men and women in the armed forces for all that you’ve done and continue to do for our country. This bowl game is for you. This year’s match up pegs the Southern Miss Golden Eagles against the Tulane Green Wave in TCU’s Amon Carter Stadium.

4) Josh Abbott at Billy Bob’s Texas

Josh Abbott Band is one of the leading acts in Texas music, winning four trophies in the inaugural Texas Regional Radio Awards. But JAB has national cred to boot – it’s landed three singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart – including “Oh, Tonight,” the first charted track to feature Grammy-winning Kacey Musgraves – and nabbed a Top 10 album with the 2012 release Small Town Family Dreams and reached No. 12 with the 2014 EP Tuesday Night.

5) Boar’s Head & Yule Log Festival

2020 brings UCC’s 44th Annual Boar’s Head & Yule Log Festival. Celebrate the triumph of good over evil and the true meaning of Christmas this weekend at University Christian Church just next to the TCU campus on University. The BHYLF is a wonderful way to celebrate Epiphany and ring in the New Year. Beautiful music, costumes and pageantry make the festival a unique experience you don’t want to miss! This year’s performances will be at 4:00pm and 6:00pm on Saturday, January 4 and Sunday, January 5. Limited reserved seating tickets are on sale for $15. As always, there are hundreds of free seats available.
