3) RIPCORD at Theatre Arlington
A sunny room on an upper floor is prime real estate in the Bristol Place Senior Living Facility, so when the cantankerous Abby is forced to share her quarters with new-arrival Marilyn, she has no choice but to get rid of the infuriatingly chipper woman by any means necessary. A seemingly harmless bet between the old women quickly escalates into a dangerous game of one-upmanship that reveals not just the tenacity of these worthy opponents, but also deeper truths that each would rather remain hidden.
4) Panther Island Ice
You only have one more week to experience Panther Island Ice. Located at Coyote Drive-In, Fort Worth’s outdoor ice skating rink offers public skating through January 20th. The rink is real ice under a large pavilion! Take advantage of the ample free parking, along with the drive-in’s other amenities such as covered seating, gas heaters, restrooms, playground and a full menu including beer and wine options. Don’t let this year slide by without a trip to Panther Island Ice at Coyote Drive In!
5) Dallas Mavericks Back to Back
The Mavericks face Lebron, Antonio, and the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday and come back to battle the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday. This would be a great weekend to catch some Luka Magic at the AAC in Dallas.
6) Ada & The Engine at Stage West
Young and curious mathematician Ada Byron is caught between two worlds. As pressures mount and feelings grow, these two form a partnership that will change the course of the future. Experience the change firsthand this weekend at Stage West Theatre in Near Southside.
