Let’s go back in time a bit…

Growing up, we all loved gathering around the TV to watch the holiday specials each season.  Join Theatre Arlington as they imagine what it would be like to have our own show with singing, dancing, and special guest stars every performance.  No doubt the start of a holiday tradition.

In the ever-growing Downtown Arlington Entertainment District.

4) If Scrooge Was A Brother at Jubilee Theatre

Get to Jubilee Theatre in Sundance Square to experience Jubilee’s twist on a Classic Holiday Tale.  It’s Christmas Eve and Eb Scroo is seeking to snuff out the season’s cheer by demanding all debts owed him be satisfied before nightfall. Facing imprisonment, a Christmas without presents and a feast, the residents are desperate. In this urban spin of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, the ghosts and characters are icons of Black culture performing holiday songs with a modern twist.

One day tragedy strikes, and Jack, along with his friends, is banished from the kingdom by his evil uncle – who wants to destroy the world with a new ice age! Get to Casa Manana in Fort Worth’s Cultural District and find out if a band of snowy misfits help Jack find his destiny and restore order to the kingdom?
