The award-winning Broadway musical Hamilton about the life of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton finally hits DFW with performances through this Sunday, May 5th. Tickets are hard to come by, but do not fret if you miss it this year. HAMILTON returns in June 2020 at Bass Performance Hall.

2) It’s Time for Mayfest

5) Lantern Festival at Fort Worth Botanic Garden

Lantern Festivals are a major part of Chinese culture and this traveling show is only in Fort Worth through May 12th. Experience 20 lanterns crafted with silk, wire and steel. It is an evening of fun, food, and adventure for the whole family.

6) Scarborough Faire Renaissance Festival               Waxahachie
