Spring Break Art Extravaganza at Kimbell Museum of Art

Celebrate vacation time at the museum with ongoing art activities, interactive family tours, storybook readings, teen studios led by guest artists, and children’s films. There is no charge for this program or to visit the permanent collection.

Spring Break Wonders At The Modern

Take advantage of family programming at the Modern over the course of the week while your school-aged children are on Spring Break. Each session is led by a docent and includes a gallery project designed by the education department. Both the tour and project focus on selected works in the Modern’s collection and the special exhibition. Attendance is limited to 45 children per session; admission is free.

Unlock your family’s creativity this spring break! Join us at the Amon Carter as we explore the exhibition From Remington to O’Keeffe: The Carter’s Greatest Hits. Bring the entire family to the museum each day during spring break to visit your favorite artworks on view. While in the galleries, you can experiment with fun sketching activities, create your own work of art, and take a peek at our construction progress!

In addition to the fun in the galleries, join our Carter Community Artist Christopher Blay as he creates an installation piece in the museum’s auditorium. Come back each day to add your mark and see the progress of the project!

Spring Break at The Fort Worth Zoo

Make WILD plans this spring break for your camper and sign them up for Spring Break Camp! Throughout the week campers will go on daily Zoo hikes, play games and activities, and see daily animal visitors in their classroom! Campers who are in first through fifth grade are welcome to join us for this WILD adventure.

Dates: March 11 – 15, 2019Times: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Before and after-care available. Ages: Students in first through fifth grade
